Greg is a passionate advocate for Career and Technical Education (CTE) and a dedicated leader of CTE programs. With over 23 years of experience across diverse roles in secondary and post-secondary education, including technology education teacher, school counselor, K-12 relations coordinator, CTE coordinator, and business manager, Greg brings a wealth of knowledge from his work in urban, suburban, and rural districts.
Coming from a family of lifelong educators, Greg’s commitment to education runs deep. His father was a technology education teacher, his mother a certified Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) teacher, and his wife is currently a special education teacher and coordinator. Greg and his wife are proud parents of two young daughters in elementary school.
Greg’s broad experience gives him an exceptional understanding of school operations, which he leverages to make CTE programming a vital part of advancing school district missions and visions. His expertise in CTE programming and school finance uniquely positions him to see the far-reaching benefits CTE can offer students, families, and school districts.
For his dissertation, Greg focused on identifying the fundamental knowledge and skills required for CTE Coordinators in Wisconsin. His successful initiatives include designing curriculum around priority standards, developing and implementing Fab Labs, securing over a quarter of a million dollars in alternative revenue, and fostering mentoring and networking for CTE professionals.
